MT. VERNON, Ohio -- Point Park University women's soccer suffered a 7-0 loss at the hands of NAIA non-conference opponent Mt. Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) on the road Monday afternoon.

Once-beaten Mt. Vernon Nazarene (4-1), members of the Crossroads League, jumped out to a 3-0 lead with Rachel Baker's hat trick in the first 22 minutes and never looked back. Point Park (1-4) was down, 4-0, at the half.

It was the continuation of Point Park's tough, NAIA non-conference schedule. The Pioneers have lost to NAIA No. 14 Spring Arbor (Mich.) (4-1), Siena Heights (3-0), Mt. Vernon Nazarene (4-1) and NCAA Division II Malone (1-1).

The pre-conference schedule continues with Saturday's home game verus NAIA Concordia (Mich.) (3-1-1). Kickoff is 12 p.m. at Highmark Stadium.
