Alcohol on Campus

Member comments:

  1. Several institutions did not allow any third or private parties to serve alcohol on campus. Some did allow private parties to serve alcohol as a matter of course. A few said that third parties could not serve alcohol in general but permitted exceptions if approved by CFO.
  2. Most institutions that allowed alcohol to be served required a licensed bartender and required that the private party had liquor liability insurance.
  3. Institutions allowing alcohol generally required that an Events Manager be responsible for ensuring that alcohol policies were maintained (no minors served; no one served who is visibly intoxicated, etc.)
