- Several institutions did not allow any third or private parties to serve alcohol on campus. Some did allow private parties to serve alcohol as a matter of course. A few said that third parties could not serve alcohol in general but permitted exceptions if approved by CFO.
- Most institutions that allowed alcohol to be served required a licensed bartender and required that the private party had liquor liability insurance.
- Institutions allowing alcohol generally required that an Events Manager be responsible for ensuring that alcohol policies were maintained (no minors served; no one served who is visibly intoxicated, etc.)
