A program for new students and their families
The Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police speaks with all freshmen and transfer students at orientation to provide information and advice to newcomers to the campus. Presentations are also conducted for family members, in order to familiarize themselves with the Public Safety Department and to address any questions or concerns. The Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police provides a safety and security briefing to students each Fall, which gives tips and information on being safe off campus. Pamphlets are available throughout campus, which provide safety and security tips.
