Crime Prevention and Campus Security Program
Representatives of the Campus join together at freshman and transfer orientation to provide information and advice to newcomers to the campus. Presentations are also conducted for family members, in order to familiarize themselves with the Security Department and to address any questions or concerns. The Pittsburgh Police Department provides a Safety and Security briefing to students each Fall, which gives tips and information on being safe off campus. Pamphlets are available at the Main Security Desk which provide Safety and Security Tips.
