Reporting Crimes and Other Emergencies
- Dial 2222 from any campus phone to report a crime in progress and/or other emergency.
- To report any crime or any emergency using a cell phone, dial 412-392-3960 for immediate attention and response.

Respond directly to the Main Security Desk located in the Atrium of Academic Hall.
When reporting a crime or incident please provide as much information as possible, to include:
- Details of what happened
- Specific location
- Identity and/or description of person(s) involved
- Date and time of incident
Be as specific as possible when giving any information to the Security Department, i.e. description of person(s), victim(s), etc.
Security foot patrols are radio dispatched to handle emergencies, safety, and security duties anywhere on campus. In addition, there are house phone located on each floor of all the campus buildings that can be used to facilitate the reporting of crimes, fires and other emergency situations.
