STUDENT EMPLOYMENT
The purpose of the program is to provide campus-based employment for students who demonstrate financial need. These jobs will help develop your skills and are an excellent addition to your resume. We have jobs all over campus, with flexible schedules and a wide variety of different responsibilities. The positions adhere to the regulations regarding Federal Work- Study Program.
Are you eligible?
- There will be a notice on your financial aid award letter indicating that you are eligible for Student Employment. There is no guarantee that you will obtain a position through the FWS program. The sooner you start your job hunt when you arrive on campus, the better.
- There will be an informational session at the beginning of the year that you MUST attend if you are interested in having a federal work-study position. You must attend whether you are a new or returning student. Information on orientation sessions will be posted as the date approaches but you can also contact the Student Employment Coordinator.
You will need to fill out payroll paperwork if you are hired. Please make sure to bring at least two forms of ID with you to school.
