Accessing your 1098-T Tax Form
2011 1098-T forms will be mailed by January 31, 2012.
Students may be eligible to claim Hope Scholarship or Lifetime Learning credit under the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997. Point Park University processes 1098-T forms for all eligible students.
The 1098-T form reports the amount billed (not paid) for qualified tuition and related expenses as well as the amount of scholarships and grants the student received for the calendar year. For example, a tuition payment made in December 2010 toward the Spring 2011 semester will not be reflected on the 2010 1098-T form because the payment offsets a 2011 charge.
1098-T forms are stored electronically with our servicer, Education Computer Systems, Inc. (ECSI). Paper forms will also be mailed to the current address on file for each eligible student. You may authorize the University to send your 1098-T form electronically by following the instructions below.
To give consent to receive your notification electronically, sign up using the secure website below. Please provide your name, social security number and your e-mail address. You can also include your parent's e-mail address in the alternate e-mail space.
