Cardholder Agreement

The Pioneer Card is your official Point Park University identification card, issued to you as part of the items to which you are entitled as a member of the University community, under the following terms and conditions of use:

Acceptance of Agreement

By accepting a Pioneer Card, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Cardholder Agreement.

Use and Ownership

The Pioneer Card is the property of Point Park University and as such, cardholder information may be accessible to other University departments for official business.

The Pioneer Card is not transferable and shall not be loaned to anyone at any time. Unauthorized use or misuse of the Pioneer Card may result in confiscation of the card and/or disciplinary action.

The Pioneer Card may not be altered in any way.

The Pioneer Card is to be carried at all times while on campus and at campus-sponsored events.

Pioneer Cards will remain valid as long as you are enrolled or employed at Point Park University. Possession of a Pioneer Card does not confirm your enrollment, registration or employment status at the University. If your enrollment should lapse, you should retain your card. If your employment should lapse, your card should be turned in to the ID Center. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the charge of a replacement fee upon your return.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Cards

Point Park University is not responsible for the use of a lost or stolen card. If your card is lost or stolen, the ID Center must be contacted during normal business hours to deactivate your card. After normal business hours, you may deactivate your card through the Department of Public Safety.

There is a replacement fee for a lost, stolen or damaged Pioneer Card. Check with the ID Center for details. Upon issuance of a replacement card, your old card cannot be reactivated.

Changes in Terms and Conditions

The above terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Changes to the terms and conditions apply to all cards in circulation and will supersede the terms and conditions that were in effect at the time the Pioneer Card was acquired.
