School of Business Fact Sheet


Beginning in 1960 as a junior college, Point Park offered two-year degrees in business and accounting. The bachelor’s degree programs in these majors were established in 1966 as Point Park became a four-year, baccalaureate degree-granting college.  Located in West Penn Hall, the School of Business at Point Park University currently offers three master’s degree programs, 12 bachelor’s degree programs and four associate degrees.

Capstone Programs

Capstone programs are for students who have earned associate degrees and intend to complete baccalaureate degrees. Acceptance into a capstone program guarantees that 60 transfer credits will be applied toward the baccalaureate degree.
