May 2011
The Point Park community gathered for an evening of celebration April 29 to recognize the achievements of University students and celebrate their accomplishments inside and outside the classroom.
The 2011 Outstanding Student Awards celebration was held at the Wyndham Grand Downtown Hotel, just a few blocks from the Point Park campus. Students and their families, along with President Paul Hennigan, deans, faculty and staff, gathered for a formal dinner and evening of fun, camaraderie and of course, student recognition in advance of undergraduate commencement ceremonies May 7.
"Tonight we take time to honor some specific individuals in the accomplishments that they have earned over this past year," Hennigan told the audience. "While we highlight these students, we must remember that all our students, faculty, and staff contribute to making Point Park University an ever growing and successful dynamic, urban institution it has become."
