Port Authority bus passes and mass transit information
United Student Government provides a 25% discount on bus passes to all full-time, undergraduate students who pay the student activity fee. The passes may be purchased at the Point Park bookstore on the first floor of Lawrence Hall. Passes generally become available on the 25th day of each month until the 5th day of the following month (for example, Oct. 25-Nov. 5 for November passes.) A limited number of passes are available each month and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. United Student Government holds the right to adjust its contribution at any time.

Parking Information
Station Square parking gives Point Park students and staff a parking discount and free shuttle service to campus. To acquire a parking pass you must come to the Office of Commuter Affairs, 712 Student Center, or the Office of Campus Life on the first floor of Pioneer Hall, pick up a contract, and have it signed by the either the director of commuter affairs or the director of student activities. Point Park shuttles
Point Park shuttles run to Oakland, where some students opt for off-campus housing. The shuttles also run for University activities, shopping and the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport. You must show a Point Park ID to ride the shuttles. For details, visit our transportation page.
Lockers
More than 200 lockers are available in Academic Hall, floors three through six. The lockers provide storage space for books and clothing. Lockers may be utilized at no cost. To receive access to the lockers please register at the front desk of the Student Center. Students who use lockers without permission could have their possessions claimed by the University and be charged through the office of Judicial Affairs. Please see the student handbook for more information regarding summer clean out.
Commuter Survey
The Commuter Survey enables commuter students an opportunity to provide the University with feedback on their overall experience. It only takes five minutes to fill out and will help the University establish programs and resources to benefit commuter students.
Commuter Meal Plans
There are three commuter meal plans to choose from:
- 75-block meal plan with $125 flex dollars (any 75 meals per semester)
- 50-block meal plan with $200 flex dollars (any 50 meals per semester)
- 30-block meal plan with $175 flex dollars (any 30 meals per semester)
- $400 flex dollars
In order to have a commuter meal plan you will need to fill out a contract.
