Wachter, a faculty member at Point Park University, teaches a variety of business courses. He is the recipient of a certificate in family business advising with fellow status from The Family Firm Institute, a multidisciplinary international nonprofit organization.
Research
Wachter's research interests include business law, legal environment of business, family business, cyber law, creativity, negotiating, business startups and entrepreneurship.
Community/Public Impact
Wachter is also a practicing attorney and provides legal and consulting services for individuals, various groups, organizations and businesses. He is also a frequent lecturer, speaker and participant in many professional seminars and workshops. An active member of a number of professional organizations, Wachter also serves as a board member of a national nonprofit organization headquartered in Pittsburgh.
Education
Wachter received a juris doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University and Bachelor of Arts degree from Duquesne University.
