Joan Mosey, MBA, has been a faculty member since 1981. She served as the director of the information technology programs from 2005-2009. She currently teaches courses in the information technology and accelerated programs. Her areas of interest include computer literacy, programming, user interface design, ethics, and project management. She is a member of the AAUW, Pittsburgh Technical Council, League of Women Voters, and Phi Beta Kappa Society. She received her undergraduate degree in information science and her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Her volunteer activities include working with PA e-Mentoring, Avalon Public Library, and Allegheny County Elections.
