The SAEM business management program is one of the most innovative in the United States. This unique entertainment business major focuses on the business commonalities of sports management, arts management and entertainment management. It's taught in Point Park's signature small class format by experienced faculty who currently work in the Sport, Arts and Entertainment field.
The curriculum builds a strong foundation in business basics like principles of management, accounting, human resources and corporate finance. In addition you will be immersed into the sport, arts and entertainment specific industries with courses in promotion, venue management, event management, live entertainment, arts management, etc.
Downtown Pittsburgh's world class culture and big league sports is the perfect setting for Sport, Arts and Entertainment management majors. You'll connect directly to the Pittsburgh's notable professional sports organizations (Steelers, Penguins and Pirates), renowned arts groups (theater, Carnegie Museums, ballet, opera, etc) and vibrant entertainment community (movie, radio, TV, online, etc) in the classroom and on the job through internships and paid positions.
