Our Bachelor of Science information technology degree program — enrolling new students for fall 2015 — will prepare you for an industry that changes every minute. With a strong focus on entrepreneurship and technological business solutions, we will give you the tool building skills you'll need to work for a large organization — or start your own company.
You will learn programming and other technical skills in our program while having hands-on opportunities and access to the latest tools in the field. Our program also has a strong emphasis on big data, in which you will learn how to generate and interpret a wide variety of business metrics in order to provide valuable information and insight for organizational leaders to make key business decisions.
Not only will you be prepared to effectively think about problems but you will also be equipped with the knowledge and skill set to implement business solutions and commercialize them.

Information technology is consistently ranked as a career field in high demand. A CNN Money article titled "5 jobs with the biggest pay hikes" reported that pay raise rates for IT workers outpaced all other professions.
Additionally, the latest information from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates job growth rates for software developers to be "much faster than the average for all occupations" due to a large increase in demand for computer software, especially within the mobile technology and health care industries.

With flexible class schedules, our IT program serves both traditional and working adult students. And with our small class sizes, you'll receive plenty of one-on-one attention from faculty with real-world work experience in the IT field.
You can choose to concentrate your information technology degree in one of the following areas:
