I am having issues registering for an audition. What am I doing wrong?

Can I modify my registration once it has been submitted?
Yes, to modify your audition, return to the registration system and enter your registration code that was given to you in your registration confirmation.
Can I cancel my registration?
Yes, you can cancel online and will need your registration code given to you in your registration confirmation. Learn more on the National Unified Auditions web page.
Does my dance call need to be the same day as my audition?
No, candidates can select a dance call on either day.
Do I have to have an academic application on file in order to audition?
Yes, you must have an academic application on file with Point Park. If you do not have an academic application on file you will forfeit your audition time.
Can I audition for both musical theatre and acting at the National Unified Auditions?
No, students are not permitted to audition for both musical theatre and acting concentrations. You must choose one concentration or the other.
Will Point Park University send a confirmation of the audition date and time for the National Unified Auditions?
Yes, a confirmation will be mailed to you in addition to the email confirmation. Typically we send the confirmations one month prior to the audition.
I didn’t receive a confirmation. Does that mean my registration didn’t go through?
Yes, if you do not receive a confirmation email your registration has not been processed. Please fill out a new audition registration form.
Will I be considered for the B.F.A. program at this audition?
All acting and musical theatre students will enter the B.A. program their freshman year at Point Park. Students interested in the B.F.A. must complete an audition during the second semester of their sophomore year.
If I miss my audition, can I reschedule?
Yes, you can reschedule your audition for any of our available dates. To reschedule, fill out a new registration form online. We ask that if you notify us that you will not be able to attend prior to the audition when possible.
Will musical accompaniment be provided?
Yes, there will be an accompanist at the National Unified Auditions. You should bring your music appropriately marked for the accompanist.
