Professor
Richard Keitel came to Point Park after teaching for six years at the University of Pittsburgh. He loves the enthusiasm of Point Park students, and his philosophy is to try to make each student the best actor and director he or she can be. He is the faculty advisor to the Point Park Bike Club and is an avid biker and disc golfer. A member of Actor's Equity, he is currently performing with Pittsburgh Playback Theatre, where he serves as associate artistic director.

Acted in King Lear, playing Edgar with Ralph Waite, directed by David Wheeler; acted in Private Eyes, mentioned as Best Actor by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette; directed American Buffalo and Collected Stories for City Theatre; directed Wild Duck for Quantum Theatre, picked as one of the top plays of the year by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. In 2010, he directed Room Service for Point Park Conservatory and Tuesdays With Morrie for Primestage Theatre.
