This certificate is designed for individuals who are interested in enhancing their current profession, job opportunities and eventually achieving a bachelor’s degree in intelligence and national security. A certificate in intelligence and national security will help students advance to administrative positions in their chosen professions in the fields of security, intelligence and law enforcement, as well as in the emergency medical services environment. The primary focus of this program is on an understanding of intelligence and its effect in policy development. Additional areas taught include the application of critical thinking and the measures of response and preparedness to overt and covert threats to national security.
