Point Park's Bachelor of Science degree in law enforcement is a broad-based educational program developed to meet the needs of experienced law enforcement personnel who are interested in developing competencies in order to work more effectively in their current professional settings or to pursue professional advancement.

This 48-credit degree completion program is offered in an accelerated format.  It provides an innovative blend of liberal arts and professional course work that will enable graduates to think critically, speak and write effectively, analyze data, plan strategically, and understand the sociological, psychological, historical and economic variables at work in the profession.

Entry into the program

Pre-requisites for entry into the program include completion of an associate’s degree or 60 transferable credits and completion of courses CRMJ 150: Introduction to Criminal Justice and CRMJ 250: Criminal Law and Procedure.  An additional 12 credits will be granted for Act 120 training that is not included as part of the associate degree credits.
