The Master of Education in secondary education leading to Pennsylvania certification is designed for students who hold a baccalaureate in the content area or related field and seek initial secondary certification (grades 7-12) in one of the following areas:
- Biology;
- Citizenship;
- Communications;
- English; or
- Mathematics.
This graduate program delivers a solid theoretical framework based on current educational field research, with extensive opportunities for direct classroom applications which address the challenges and opportunities faced by current educators. Courses will respond to the need of adult learners and will be delivered in a variety of formats including traditional, online, and blended approaches.
