PITTSBURGH FOLK FESTIVAL
(MAY 14, 15, AND 16, 2010)

The Pittsburgh Folk Festival is pleased to announce that not only the festival is returning in 2010 and will be open to the public May 14-16 but the award winning multicultural education program, Around the World in One Day is also returning on May 14, 2010.

This program is a one-day field trip to the Folk Festival dedicated exclusively to satisfying PA State educational standards for multicultural education for grades 4-8. All student activities are 'hands-on" or experiential. Teachers love the field trip too for all the authentic ethnic food.

For more information, please see the attached flyer or visit the Folk Festival website
www.pghfolkfest.org and click on Education.

The Project Children LEAD website is dedicated to providing multicultural educational resources to teachers, students and trainers. We hope you find the website resources useful in developing lessons for your classroom students.
