Convergence
The Department of Humanities and Human Sciences casts a wide net: students interested in writing, politics, psychology, law, history or behavioral science are drawn together to share, learn and inspire each other. Professors lead small classes that encourage students to participate in setting the direction of discussion and discovery.
Our programs appeal to students who like to question, probe and challenge. They welcome vigorous exploration and don’t shy away from big questions and complicated issues. Our students understand and embrace the complexities of human nature, and they recognize that life isn’t just black and white. They see the shades of gray.
A humanities degree prepares you for your place in the great wide world, whether you head directly into a career field or continue your education for an advanced degree. So, dive deep into one discipline or try it all. Either way you’ll be part of a vibrant, exciting academic experience at Point Park.
