The program leading to the bachelor of science degree with a major in biological sciences offers two concentrations: environmental health and general pre-professional studies.
The first concentration focuses on the environment to prepare graduates for careers in the field and for further study in graduate school. The second concentration prepares graduates for admission to veterinary, dental and medical school.
Students are encouraged to participate in available internships with government and industry in order to gain real-world experience in their fields. Additionally, students are encouraged to obtain a minor in a complementary area to diversify their knowledge.
