The program leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences/Secondary Education prepares graduates to teach biology at the secondary school level. The post-baccalaureate program leading to the Bachelor of Science degree provides the opportunity for practicing teachers in other disciplines to add this subject to their certification and for professionals working outside of education to obtain their certification to teach at the secondary level.
Both degree programs are a collaborative effort between the Natural Sciences and Engineering Technology department and the Education department.
