The program builds upon the University's long-standing biological sciences degree programs. Accepted students receive targeted guidance, including hands-on preparation for the MCAT/GRE and similar exams, from experienced faculty who take a personal interest in each and every student.
You will receive a well-rounded education through Point Park's core curriculum and classes in the premedical and preprofessional studies major. Some of the courses in the program include:

Point Park's Bachelor of Science degree program in premedical and preprofessional studies is affiliated with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. A select group of entering freshmen at Point Park can now begin a formal path toward a professional career in medicine by pursuing the Bachelor of Science degree in premedical and preprofessional studies and being accepted into the University's LECOM affiliate program.
