Ad Fed/PRSSA
The Advertising Federation/Public Relations Student Society of America clubs provide students with a real-life view of professional advertising and public relations. Ad Fed and PRSSA work together to create professional contacts for students interested in advertising or public relations careers. The Ad Fed club is affiliated with the American Advertising Federation, a national association of advertising professionals. PRSSA is part of Public Relations Society of America and fosters students’ understanding of the practice of public relations.
Membership is open to all students; dues are approximately $30 a year. Activities include field trips to advertising/public relations agencies, guest speakers and parties. There are also various fundraisers. Ad Fed/PRSSA meets Tuesdays at 1 p.m. in Academic Hall room 506 (subject to change).
