Complete Your Criminal Justice Bachelor’s Degree In New Castle, Pa

Point Park University has partnered with Butler County Community College (BC3) to offer students the convenience of earning a Point Park University Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice at a familiar, close -to-home location.  Students who have earned an associate degree (or 60 transferable credits) are invited to apply to Point Park University to complete the upper level courses of the criminal justice degree at BC3 @ Lawrence Crossing, located in New Castle, PA.  This program is available beginning in the Spring 2010 semester.

The Program:

• The Criminal Justice program offered by Point Park University is an accelerated degree completion program that allows the student to attend classes two times per week and yet still earn 12 credits per semester.
• Courses are held in seven week formats: two courses in the first seven weeks and two courses in the second seven weeks. A total of four courses offered during the traditional 15 week semester. 
• Classes will meet in evening and Saturday sessions to accommodate the working adult.
• Course offerings will be tailored to meet the requirements of Point Park University, as well as the needs of students enrolled in the program. 
• On average, a student will complete the program in two years using this format.

The Process:

• Applications are currently being accepted for the Criminal Justice program at BC3 @ Lawrence Crossing and can be submitted online by clicking here. 
• The application process requires transcripts from any/all post-secondary institutions you have attended. Once your transcripts are received, you will be notified of an admissions decision followed by an evaluation of your transfer credits.
• Free Application for Federal Student Aid applications (FAFSA) must be submitted using our code (003357) to allow our financial aid office to process your aid. Visit www.fafsa.gov. Point Park University offers generous financial aid packages including our Pioneer Grant, an award for local community college graduates regardless of need or merit.
