 The Office of Financial Aid

At Point Park, we believe financial circumstances should not stand in the way of the education of your choice. That's why we keep our tuition and fees as low as possible while still providing the best all-around education experience that money can buy.

  • We make every effort to provide grants, scholarships and financial aid options to every student who needs them.
  • 92 percent of Point Park students receive some form of financial aid.
  • Point Park students received $72 million in financial assistance last year.

Financial Aid Options

Financial aid options vary depending on the type of student you are. Look for your category below and follow the links for detailed information. 

Full-time Undergraduate 12 to 18 credits per semester attending classes
Monday through Friday during the day and evening
Part-time Undergraduate 3 to 11 credits per semester attending classes
during the day and evening
Accelerated Undergraduate 12 credits per semester attending classes on Saturdays only
Graduate Students Requires completion of a college undergraduate degree program
International Students International students are not U.S. citizens and can attend full-time only.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

FAFSA Application Dates and Deadlines

  • It is strongly encouraged to apply early so that you make take advantage of all available programs.
  • Summer and Fall Semesters:  The financial aid application process begins January 1, and the Office of Financial Aid has an April 15 priority deadline for FAFSA submission. 
  • Spring Semester:  Apply for financial aid immediately.  The Office of Financial Aid has a November 1 priority deadline for FAFSA submission.
