Friday, Oct. 7

Athletics Department Golf Outing 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Hickory Heights Golf Club, Bridgeville
10 a.m. shotgun start
It’s a friendly competition as you and your foursome support the Point Park athletic program at Hickory Heights Golf Club for the inaugural golf outing. The outing will begin with a 10 a.m. shotgun and follow a scramble format. Lunch will be provided at the turn and the day will conclude with dinner.

This event requires a separate registration from our main events, please use the link below to secure your spot on the green. If you are interested in attending other "Back to the 'Burgh" events please use the main Registration link (link to) found at the end of the schedule.
(Cost is $100 per golfer and $400 per foursome)

Pick up registration packets and tickets for the weekend celebration. Staff will be available to answer questions about the weekend, as well as Point Park’s progressing Academic Village.

Campus Tours: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Departing from Alumni Park
This student-led walking tour weaves through our downtown campus, exploring new areas on campus as well as current student living spaces.

Open House in the Park: 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Join current and former faculty and staff, students and alumni as we celebrate the opening of Pittsburgh’s newest green space—in the heart of campus! Cocktails and campus tours are offered throughout the event.

Private Parties and Student Group Reunions: 8 p.m.

Baseball and Softball Reunion Games: 10 a.m. – noon
Greentree Park
All former baseball and softball players should make sure to attend the third annual reunion games, this year held at Point Park’s home field, Greentree Park. Registration begins at 9 a.m.

Postgame Lunch: 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Aracri’s Greentree Inn
Get the inside track on Point Park athletics while having lunch with current athletes and coaches.
(Cost: $10 per person)

Street Festival: 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Third Avenue
A favorite from our 50th anniversary last year, the street festival is sure to please children and adults alike. Revel in food, fun and games in this festive atmosphere outdoors! A variety of complimentary food options, such as hamburgers, hotdogs, and carnival fare, will be available for the duration of the street festival.

Discounts and specials will also be available in the Point Cafe and at the Point Park Starbucks to anyone wearing their Alumni Weekend name badge.

WPPJ DJ Experience: 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Calling all former WPPJ DJs – jump back into the DJ booth! Register online for your preferred 30 minute time slot.

This premier event of the weekend unites former and current faculty with alumni, beginning with a formal cocktail reception.

The evening includes dinner honoring the legacy of Point Park faculty. Special videos of faculty make this a time for reminiscing as well as looking to the future. We hope you will share the memories with us!
