Laurel Valley Golf Club

Golf photoSet in Western Pennsylvania's breathtaking Laurel Highlands, the club spans 260 glorious acres nestled between the Laurel Ridge and Chestnut Ridge Mountains. Laurel Valley has realized the dream of its founders to become the ideal golf club — a course of unmatched strength and impeccable beauty whose intricate challenges are matched only by the timeless setting. The perfect place to play, Laurel Valley enjoys nature's endless bounty: crisp, bright springs ... the lush greenery of summer ... the warm splendor of Indian summer ... and the rich display of brilliant autumn color hailed by naturalists the world.

With the hiring of renowned golf architect Dick Wilson, ground was broken in June of 1958, and the club officially opened the following summer. Golf legend Arnold Palmer has helped the club receive its national rank and standing by attracting the PGA Championship, Senior PGA Championship, the Ryder Cup Match and others. Arnold Palmer's firm has continued to refine the club to make it one of the most challenging and satisfying golf experiences for the serious golfer.

In simple yet classic Georgian style, Laurel Valley's facilities are designed to respect the majesty of its surroundings. Special attention has been paid to bringing the outside in and the inside out. French doors and flagstone porches beckon at sunrise. Bay windows draw evening guests to witness the beauty of the Laurel Valley sunset. At every turn, guests will find the timeless design of nature accented to perfection by the respectful design of man.
