Point Park offers a full schedule of Intramural Sports and Activities to keep you active and satisfy your competitive desires. Getting involved in intramurals is a great way to meet new people, have fun and get the most out of your college experience.

FALL 2009 PROGRAMS

Flag Football
Get your team together and compete on the gridiron. This is the most popular intramural sport, and it will be held at the Greentree SportsPlex on Fridays.
Fall Dates: Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30 and Nov. 6 and 13.

Basketball
Suit up for some intramural basketball at the YWCA, which is one the corner of Wood Stree and Fourth Avenue. These co-ed pickup games will be held on Tuesday's and Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Fall Dates: Every Tuesday and Thursday starting Sept. 8.

Dodge Ball
Make Vince Vaughn pround by playing dodge ball. Come as a team of fly solo for this event that is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Pick up games are at 12 p.m. on Fridays at the YWCA.
Fall Dates: Sept. 11, 18, 25 and Oct. 2.

Cornhole
This weekly event brings all the fun of a backyard barbecue. Find a friend and sign up for this bean-bag-toss competition, which will be held in Alumni Park from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Fall Dates: Every Wednesday in September beginning Sept. 8.

Self-defense classes
Sharpen your skills in this weekly open forum. Classes are held in 501 Patterson Hall from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Mondays.
Fall Dates: Every Monday from Sept. 14 to Dec. 7.

Bowling
Are you a high roller? Find out who is the king of the lanes in this fun-filled, individual event. Monthly trips are made to the Noble Manor Lanes in Greentree. Transportation will be provided.
Fall Dates: Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3.

Billiards
Do you have what it takes to outlast all challengers on the pool table? Then sign up for the one-day billiards tournaments that will be held in the Recreation Center. This is a one-day tournament.
Fall Date: Nov. 20 at 1 p.m.

Table tennis
Can you play ping pong with the liks of Forest Gump? If so, sign up for the table-tennis tournament, which will be held in the Recreation Center. This is a one-day tournament.
Fall Date: Nov. 20 at 1 p.m.
