Point Park is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, which has nearly 300 members in the United States and Canada. The NAIA encourages high standards of achievement both academically and athletically while giving scholarships to its athletes. The NAIA promotes the five core values of its Champions of Character initiative, which are respect, responsibility, intergrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship.
Since 1999, Point Park has been a member of the American Mideast Conference, which is one of the largest conferences in the NAIA. The AMC has 14 member institutions and offers championships in 15 sports. The AMC features schools from Pennylvania, Ohio and New York.
