PITTSBURGH -- Point Park University baseball players Brandon Haburjak and Bryce Pfeuffer were last week named 2010 NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes. The announcement came during the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.

PITTSBURGH -- The American Mideast Conference handed out the All-AMC baseball awards Friday, and Point Park had seven players earn all-conference honors including first team selections Bryce Pfeuffer (above) and Lee Bodnar. Point Park had two AMC Rawlings Gold Glove winners.

Point Park University baseball coach Loren Torres made an appearance on the student television show Pioneer Sideline. The Miami, Fla., native who was hired as Point Park head coach last July took some time out to talk to host Josh Frketic about his plans for the program.
