Point Park places seventh at Pitt-Greensburg Invitational

GREENSBURG, Pa. - The Point Park University men's cross country team placed seventh at the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Pitt-Greensburg Saturday.
Reuben Rono (Kapsabet, Kenya) and Dylan Grunn (Honesdale/Abington Heights) led the way by placing 23rd and 24th , respectively. Rono had a time of 30:24, and Grunn recorded a time of 30:27. The Point Park men were 7th of 9 teams.
Other top finishers included Andrew Witchey (Lower Burrell/St. Joseph), who finished 46th with a time of 31:58. Rounding out the team were Chris Kennedy (33:43) and Riley Faison (38:33).
The Pioneers were without Jared Ferree (White Oak/Faith Christian), who was out with an injury.
Both Point Park teams travel to the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Saturday, and the first race is at 10:30 a.m.
