Point Park Men's XC and T&F signs Brian Moore of Howell, Mich.

PITTSBURGH -- Point Park University men's cross country and track and field head coach Kelly Parsley is pleased to have Howell, Mich., native Brian Moore as a signee for the 2015-16 season. Moore will be a freshman for the Pioneers this coming year.
Moore is two-time all-state performer at Howell High School in Michigan. In cross country, he was seventh at the regional meet and third at the conference meet as a senior to qualify for states. Moore has a personal-record time of 15:41 in the 5K, and his time of 15:47 at the MHSAA meet put him 29th in the state of Michigan. He also earned all-state honors as junior finishing in 22nd place.
In track and field, Moore was a state qualifier in the 3,200 meter run. His personal-best time of 9:31.95 placed fifth at the regional meet and qualified him for states, where he placed 26th in Michigan. In the 1,600 meter run, he placed ninth at the conference meet with a personal-record time of 4:28.90.
"Brian Moore will make an immediate impact for us and in the KIAC," said coach Parsley. "I expect Brian to compete for an individual title in the KIAC and compete at the NAIA national meets in cross country and track and field."
Point Park is located in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pa., and is a member of the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
