Basketball Broadcast Schedule

WPPJ-AM 670 & MSA Sports Network to broadcast 47 Point Park games in 2012-13

PITTSBURGH -- The Point Park University student radio station WPPJ-AM 670 will broadcast live a total of 47 Pioneers men's and women's basketball games on internet radio for the 2012-13 season. Each WPPJ broadcast will be simulcast and archived on the MSA Sports Network.

The broadcast schedule will air 23 of 24 men's basketball games and 24 of 28 women's basketball games. Click the links above for the complete broadcast schedules. Games denoted with "Listen Live" will air live online. With the call this year will be WPPJ student broadcasters Aaron Cooney, Matt Desmond, Chris Hoffman and Phil Navatsyk.

The debut broadcast for men's basketball will be at the Daemen Tournament Nov. 2-3 with a matchup versus Western Ontario at 4 p.m. ET. The women's broadcast schedule will tip off for the Pioneers' home opener Nov. 8 vs. Salem International with a game time of 7 p.m. ET. All broadcasts will begin 15 minutes prior to tip off for the pre-game show.

All broadcasts will stream live online free of charge. Users can log on to the broadcasts in two ways -- by visiting wppjradio.com and clicking "LISTEN LIVE" in the right-hand menu, or by visiting msasports.net and then clicking "COLLEGES", "POINT PARK" and then "MEN'S or WOMEN'S BASKETBALL." On the MSA Sports Network site, the game schedule and game broadcasts will appear in the right-hand menu.

Users who log on via wppjradio.com can listen live on their iPhone, iPad, droid or tablet. The msasports.net site will archive all broadcasts for on-demand listening. Broadcasts will become available 15 minutes prior to tipoff.
