PITTSBURGH -- Point Park University senior guard T.J. Heatherington was selected to the KIAC All-Conference Team, as announced by the league on Sunday (Feb. 24). Heatherington, from McKeesport, Pa., and Serra Catholic HS, is the lone representative from the Pioneers (14-11, 8-7 KIAC) on the 10-player all-conference team.

Heatherington, a 5-10 point guard, is fourth in the KIAC in scoring at 17.8 ppg and leads the conference in assists at 5.3 apg, a statistic that ranks 10th in NAIA Division II. He is also second in the KIAC in free-throw percentage at .809.

Heatherington was the leading scorer for Point Park, which lost in the KIAC Tournament quarterfinals at Cincinnati Christian on Saturday (Feb. 23). With Heatherington running the point, the Pioneers set a team record this year with 93.2 ppg and ranked second in the country in that category.
