PITTSBURGH -- Point Park University junior guard Jerah'me Williams has been selected the KIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 1-7, 2014, announced the conference on Monday (Dec. 8).

The 5-9 native of Youngstown, Ohio, averaged 16.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game in four games last week to lead Point Park (8-4). He was 9 for 25 from 3-point range to help the Pioneers to a 2-2 record on the week.

Williams, a transfer from NAIA Division II Lourdes (Ohio) University, has played in all 12 games for the Pioneers and has started the last nine contests. He ranks 23rd in NAIA Division II in scoring at 20.3 points per game, and he is third in the nation with 7.3 assists per game.

Williams' big week included 26 points, five assists and five 3-pointers in a 75-71 home victory over KIAC team Cincinnati Christian last Saturday. He reached double figures in scoring all four games, including 17 versus Washington Adventist.
