Profile: Robinson transferred to Point Park this year for his senior season. A native of Pittsburgh, he will look to finish off his career with a strong season. He spent his first two years at Stony Brook (N.Y.), a Division I school on Long Island before transferring to Clarion last season. A former all-city league player at Allderdice High School, Robinson is a talented guard who possesses a lot of natural abilities. At 6-3, 205 pounds, he has the ability to get to the basket off the dribble as well as post up smaller perimeter players. His ability to rebound from the guard position will be a welcome addition to an undersized lineup.
2008-09 (at Clarion): Robinson played in 24 games and made 14 starts at Clarion. He averaged 7.8 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the floor and 40 percent from 3-point range. He played his best basketball at the start of the season. The first 10 games, he started nine times and averaged 13.2 points and 4.3 rebounds per game to go along with 25 assists and 15 steals. During that stretch, he shot 54 percent overall and 50 percent (10-for-20) from long range.
At Stony Brook: In two years at Stony Brook, Robinson played in 20 games. As a freshman, he played in 19 games and earned seven starts. He had 33 points, five assists and 10 steals as a freshman.
High school: Robinson scored more than 1,500 points and averaged 18.0 points per game during his career at Allderdice. He was a four-time All-City League selection, and he earned first-time honors his final two years. In 2006-07, he was joined on the All-City League team by the Schenley High duo of DeJuan Blair of the San Antonio Spurs and D.J. Kennedy of St. Johns University. As a senior, he led Allderdice to the City League title game vs. Schenley.
