ZANESVILLE, Ohio -- The Point Park University men's golf team shaved 15 strokes off its first-round total and moved up three spots in the team standings to finish fifth of 10 teams at the two-day Muskingum Invitational on Friday-Saturday at Eagle Sticks Golf Course.
Point Park shot 292 in Saturday's final round, which is just one shot of its season-best score of 291 at the Mt. Union final round in the fall. The Pioneers had shot 307 in the first round and stood eighth of 10 teams after 18 holes.

Bernardini and Daley each shot 76-73--149 to place in the tie for 15th place individually. Bernardini is a junior from Cuernavaca Morelos, Mexico. Daley is a sophomore from Youngstown, Ohio.
Holmes (78-73--151) was two shots back of Bernardini and Daley in a tie for 22nd. Wivell (79-73--152) was one shot back of that in a tie for 26th.
Point Park had a 36-hole total of 599. Otterbein easily won the team title at 569. Denison (583) was second followed by Mt. Union (585) and Ohio Northern (590) just in front of Point Park.
