Oct. 29, 2013 at 10:45 a.m. ET

PITTSBURGH -- Point Park University captain Jonty Loukes, a center midfielder from Sheffield, England, has been named the KIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 21-27.

Loukes, a sophomore, had four assists, one goal and six points last week to lead Point Park (10-6-1, 4-0-0 KIAC) to a 1-1 record in two games last week.

A highlight of Loukes' week was collecting four assists in the Pioneers' 6-0 home win over Berea (Ky.) Oct. 26, which completed a perfect, 4-0-0 record in KIAC play.

Loukes also scored Point Park's only goal in a 2-1 loss to Grove City, which looked to be the game-winner until some defensive breakdowns allowed Grove City to score two goals the last eight minutes.

Loukes is Point Park's leader in points with 25 and assists with 11. He also has seven goals to tie for third on team. Loukes is second in the KIAC in both total assists and total points.

Loukes and the Pioneers will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming KIAC/GCAC Unaffiliated Tournament scheduled for No. 5-9. The bracket has not been officially released, but Point Park will be the No. 1 seed with the bye into the semifnals Nov. 7. The Pioneers will host a semifinal game vs. TBA on Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. at Highmark Stadium.
