Point Park men's soccer opens KIAC play with 11-0 win at Cincinnati Christian

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Point Park University opened its KIAC men's soccer schedule on Friday (Oct. 4) night with an 11-0 victory at Cincinnati Christian. The Pioneers improved to 5-5-1 overall, 1-0-0 KIAC.

Ousman Jaiteh and Lucas Silva each had a hat trick to lead the offense for Point Park, which has now won consecutive games for the first time all season. CCU is now 3-10, 0-3 KIAC.

Gabriel Colombo and Jonty Loukes scored two goals apiece for Point Park, and Brett Gwosden scored one goal.

Point Park's remaining three games in the KIAC are all at home. The Pioneers were 4-0-0 KIAC last year.

The Pioneers will try to make it three wins in a row at home Sunday versus non-conference Wittenberg. Kickoff is 2 p.m. at Highmark Stadium.
