SOUTH PARK, Pa. -- Francis Tabi scored two goals the first 23 minutes in Point Park University's 2-0 victory over visiting Westminster College in a non-conference men's soccer game Monday night at Century United Complex.

Point Park (8-6-0, 4-0-0 KIAC) wasted little time getting the lead on 10-win Westminster (10-4-2, 4-1-1 PAC) as Tabi scored just 2:06 into the game.

It was Senior Night for the Pioneers, and Tabi, a senior forward from Ghana, made it a two-goal game with his strike in the 23rd minute.

It turned out that was all the Pioneers needed as another senior, goalkeeper Mitchell Kelman, posted a shutout in 90 minutes of action. Kelman, from Frederick, Md., made six saves.

Westminster was not without its chances as it got off 15 shot attempts. But only six registered on target. Point Park had 18 total shots with 10 on goal.

Point Park concludes the regular season Saturday in Boston versus Fisher (Mass.) College. After that, the Pioneers will be in the KIAC/GCAC Unaffiliated Group Tournament, which is scheduled for Nov. 6, 8 & 10. Tournament schedule and seeding TBA. The winner of the six-team, single-elimination tournament will advance to the NAIA national tournament.

Seniors being honored on Senior Night were Francis Tabi (F, Ghana), Mitchell Kelman (GK, Frederick, Md.), Alex Sala (M, Austria), Jack Pilkinton (M/D, England), Matt Annecchiarico (F, Canada), Andrew Wellman (F, Forest Hills, Pa.) and Phil Malle (D, Pittsburgh, Pa.).
