PITTSBURGH -- Point Park University sprinter DeAnthony Morgan is the KIAC Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Monday (April 20, 2015).

Morgan is a freshman from Dayton, Ohio, and Wayne High School who has established himself as the fastest men's track athlete in the KIAC so far this year. He set school records in the 100- and 200-meter dashes last weekend at the Slippery Rock Invitational, which also stand as the best times in the conference this year.

Morgan raced to a time of 11.01 in the 100 meters to place 13th at the NCAA Divison II meet. He came in at 22.44 in the 200 meters to place 20th. He was also a part of Point Park's 4x100 relay team that placed sixth with a time of 44.04.

Morgan and the Pioneers will compete in the KIAC championship meet this Saturday, April 25 at Rio Grande, Ohio.
