PITTSBURGH -- The 2014 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's & Women's Cross Country Championships will be hosted by Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pa., at Schenley Park on Nov. 8, 2014.

The women's 5,000-meter race will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by the men's 8,000-meter race at 2:30 p.m. Schenley Park is located at 1 Overlook Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15207.

The KIAC Cross Country Championships are a national qualifier for the NAIA National Championship Nov. 22 in Lawrence, Kan. The KIAC men's and women's championship teams will earn an automatic bid to the NAIA national meet. Individual qualfication for the national meet will be awarded to the Top 4 finishers in the men's and women's races who are not from the KIAC championhip team. Individual qualifiers must place in the Top 15 at the KIAC meet.

The Top 7 finishers in the men's and women's races will be named All-KIAC First Team. Finishers 8-14 will be designated All-KIAC Second Team. There will also be awards for the KIAC Coach of the Year, KIAC Men's and Women's Runner of the Year, KIAC Men's and Women's Newcomer of the Year and KIAC Men's and Women's Comeback Runner of the Year. An awards ceremony will be held after the conclusion of the men's race.
