Dill places 14th at Penn State-Behrend, Pioneers finish seventh

ERIE, Pa. - Point Park's Lindsay Dill placed 14th at the Penn State-Behrend Invitational Saturday to lead the Pioneers to a seventh-place finish among 18 teams.
Running a race in her hometown, Dill (Erie/McDowell) had a time of 25:47 in the 6K race. Normally, women's meets are 5K.
Point Park next finisher was Sarah Austin (Sweet Valley/Lake-Lehman), who placed 22nd with a time of 26:25.
Carina Jollie (Pittsburgh/Oakland Catholic) placed 39th with a time of 27:31, and Makenzie Smith (Butler/Butler) finished close behind in 40th place at 27:48.
Rounding out the Pioneers' squad were Leah Bubeck (29:39), Leticia Henry (30:20) and Martine Saul (31:36).
Point Park was originally scheduled to visit the St. Vincent Invitational Saturday, but the Pioneers had to withdraw from that competition due to the Pittsburgh Summit. Point Park will close its campus from Sept. 23-36 due to the Summit, which will be held in Pittsburgh from Sept. 24-25.
No athletic competitions will be held while the university is closed.
