PROFILE
On Zietak: Zietak has been one of the top middle hitters in the American Mideast Conference the last two years. In 2008, she ranked among the league leaders in several key categories and was named to the All-AMC third team. Zietak was named the AMC North Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the All-AMC North first team in 2007 with a career high 448 kills and 118 blocks.
2008: Was named to the All-AMC third team as a sophomore... led the Pioneers in hitting (.328), service aces (65) and blocks (79)...ranked sixth in the AMC in hitting percentage...was third in the conference in service aces per game (0.5)...was second on the team with 345 kills...hit .372 in AMC play...had season highs of 24 kills and seven blocks at Daemen...had 18 matches with 10 or more kills including 14 of the final 16 matches. 2007: Selected the AMC North Division Freshman of the Year and was named All-AMC North Division first team. . .led the team with 118 blocks...tallied 448 kills on the year...ranked eighth in the AMC in hitting percentage (.314). . .posted career highs of 26 kills (vs. Ursuline) and eight blocks (vs. Notre Dame).
