Profile: Bergman enters her senior season, and this is her fourth year on the Point Park women’s basketball team. A reliable shooter from the outside and at the foul line, Bergman is shooting 31 percent from long range and 71 percent from the free-throw line during her career. Over the last three years, Bergman has given the Pioneers an outside shooting threat of the bench, and she figures to be in the role once again as a senior. She has played in 51 games with three starts. 2009-10: Bergman played in 19 games and earned one start as a junior. Her season high of eight points came in the second game of the year vs. Midway when she hit two 3-pointers. She also hit two treys for a total of six points vs. Ursuline.
2008-09: Bergman played in 23 games and started one time. She was third on the team with 20 3-pointers and was also third on the team in foul shooting at 73.5 percent. 2007-08: Played in nine games and made one start as a freshman before an injury from a car accident ended her season in December…shot 48 percent from the field and 39 percent from 3-point range…had 13 points on 3-for-3 shooting from long range vs. PSU New Kensington (Nov. 17)…made three treys and had 11 points in her only start at W.V. Wesleyan (Dec. 18). High school: A 2007 graduate of West Mifflin High School…was named to the Daily News Fabulous 15 team two times…won MVP honors of the Blue Devil Tournament as a senior. ..led her team in scoring.
