Profile: Boshkova is in her second season at Point Park after spending her freshman year at NCAA Division II Fairmont State. The native of Sofia, Bulgaria, has a long and athletic build as a 6-1 forward. She showed a lot of potential in her first season with the Pioneers with averages of 3.7 ppg and 3.2 rpg as a reserve post player. In her third year of college basketball, Boshkova will look to further develop her game as an upperclassman. She came to college with a solid resume in international play as a member of the Bulgarian U-20 and U-19 national teams.
2010-11: Boshkova played in all 27 games and made seven starts. Primarily a reserve, Boshkova had 3.7 ppg and 3.2 rpg in 13.9 minutes per game. She shot 38 percent from the floor and 71 percent from the foul line. Her 14 blocks were second on the team to Joncelyn Peterkin. She had three double-digit games with a career-high 13 points coming vs. PSU-Fayette. She started the year with 11 points at Rio Grande and vs. Midway. She had a career-high nine rebounds and nine points vs. Salem International.
At Fairmont State: Boshkova played in nine games as a backup in 2009-10. In 42 total minutes for the year, she scored 12 points on 5 of 8 shooting and pulled down 10 rebounds. A strong Fairmont State team was 22-10 last year, and Boshkova had several veteran post players in front of her in the lineup.
International: Boshkova was a member of the Bulgarian U-20 and U-18 teams in her native country of Bulgaria. A highlight of her international competition was averaging 5.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game at the 2008 U-19 European Championship. During that event, she had career highs of 11 points vs. Ukraine and 13 rebounds vs. Belarus.
