Profile: A three-sport athlete at Point Park, Gallagher is back with the women’s basketball team in 2011-12 after not playing on the hardwood last year. A hard-nosed and athletic forward, Gallagher played in combined 40 games as a backup her freshman and sophomore seasons. Gallagher adds depth to the Pioneers’ front court and is a strong defender and rebounder. Gallagher is a team captain and starting center back for the women’s soccer team and also a reserve outfielder from the softball team.
2009-10: Gallagher played in 21 games off the bench. She made 6 of 14 field goals for 43-percent shooting. She totaled 19 points and 31 rebounds on the year. She had six points and three rebounds in 12 minutes at Walsh.
2008-09: Gallagher played in 19 games and started once. She was one of 12 players who averaged more than nine minutes per game. She recorded a season high of seven points vs. Roberts Wesleyan.
High school: A 2008 graduate of Perry Traditional Academy…was an All-City League performer…averaged 17.3 points, 10.4 rebounds per game…was a four-year letter winner in basketball, softball and soccer.
